quartzite
The quartzite is a natural and metamorphic stone, formed from modifications of other stones or minerals existing inside the earth by pressure effects and thermal variation. It is made up of sandstones with high quartz content, which thanks to the high temperatures and pressure of the place where it is formed offers great resistance.
The natural stone “quacicita” is composed of 90% quartz ore and in some cases can reach up to 99%.
Being 100% natural and being composed of different minerals, its color may vary. The most common colors of the quartzite are the following: white, pink, reddish, gray and brown.
The characteristics of this stone make it highly resistant over the years, because it perfectly withstands temperature changes and is very hard, so it does not tend to erode easily and does not absorb moisture, being an excellent choice for exterior coatings.
